To raise £15,000 for essential veterinary care during the core winter months of December & January. Upon entry to GRWE care, all dogs receive a vet examination and injuries & diseases are immediately treated. Winter exacerbates such conditions, leaving the dogs weaker & needing more intensive care

Situation
An increasing number of greyhounds and lurchers arrive in our care in a far worse state than ever before, needing more intensive care and therefore costing more to treat. Without our intervention many would not survive. Additionally, we must ensure funds to continue the regular neutering and dental care provided to all our dogs before they are homed. Christmas usually sees a higher demand for us to take in dogs at short notice, often they’ve been abandoned due to illness or deliberate injury.
Solution
The project will enable us to provide essential veterinary care to ensure the survival and future wellbeing of injured and sick dogs. It will also ensure that we can continue to meet the health and veterinary needs of dogs in our care while they await th
