Each winter our shelters give 35 homeless people a bed for the night, dinner, breakfast, friendship and dignity. Our caseworkers help our guests get back off the streets for good. This project will double the available bed spaces to 70 each night for 12 weeks starting in early January.

Situation
The need is clear: look in shop doorways at night ... homelessness is on the rise. Last year, 3673 rough sleepers were recorded in London, 2000 of them for the first time. Our shelters are always oversubscribed, and this year all the indications are that more homeless people will seek our help than ever before.
Solution
We will double our bed spaces from 35 to 70 each night, and double our casework capacity to help people find solutions to their homelessness. We will offer companionship and dignity. We will help our guests rebuild their lives.
