Situation

Around the world, the tiger is facing extinction with around 3,000 remaining in the wild. There are now more tigers in captivity than in the wild and a concerted effort is needed if the tiger is to survive. The first step is to raise awareness of the issue and to mobilise individuals to make their support known. The second is to raise money to fund a range of direct actions designed to protect the tiger and support the local communities who share its territory.

Solution

The project aims to fund more animal based protection measures, to monitor tiger numbers and its habitats, educate and support local communities and lobby governments to ban trade in tiger body parts .

  • We can talk all day about how to save the tiger - but the truth is simple; the killing has to stop!
