Our volunteers provide essential support to our service users, mentoring those who are leaving prison, supporting families who may be struggling to cope and providing regular hours each week to those who are in need of additional support.

Situation
In Gateshead over 600 families have been identified as in need of support. In addition we have registered over 1000 individuals in need of accommodation support since our drop in centre opened in 2011. We have projects dedicated to providing support to families and housing to those in need but the projects could not function well without the support of our team of volunteers.
