The Rose Theatre is continuing its aim to grow its access list, in order to increase participation from people from all walks of life in theatrical events at the venue. With government figures showing an increase in the isolation of children and young people with access needs, we must fight to create opportunities for inclusion, particularly within the arts, and ensure that people of all abilities feel like the theatre is a safe and inviting place to visit and be involved in.

The Let Me In Festival will include a varied programme of performances and workshops for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) of all ages, delivered by experienced practitioners.

  • Always in our minds is a belief that a love of learning can transform lives and we are keen to work with the Rose to make this happen.

    — Anstee Bridge Tutor

  • Fostering inclusivity is at the heart of what we do at the Rose, so having the chance to celebrate that with a diverse range of guests is really rewarding.”

    — Harriet Astbury, Festival Co-ordinator
