There is a general lack of well equipped nursery facilities in Gambia with State education not starting until 7 years of age
Solution
The African Oyster Trust supports four nursery schools providing learning for around 500 children. However, there is an on going need to raise funding to ensure the continued provision of this quality education in well maintained and equipped facilities
