Our vision is a world where every disabled child can achieve the best possible quality of life. Providing Portage to disabled children enables them to learn and develop through play, maximising their independence. We are dedicated to bringing Portage to every disabled child in Russia and beyond.

Situation
In Russia there are limited resources for disabled children and their families, meaning that many children are sadly put into care. Education is not inclusive; special education is difficult to access and therapy provision sparse so families often have to travel many hours for help and advice.
Solution
We've developed an evidence based Russian Portage Service model providing the necessary training, mentorship and holistic support required to ensure new Portage services provide high quality, sustainable education and support to disabled children and their families. By increasing the number of Portage Services throughout Russia, in addition to increasing the size of the Russian Portage training team, Portage is at last becoming a recognised form of early intervention.
