To celebrate NMC's 30th year, we're hoping to raise £30,000 during the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2019! Our challenge is to raise £15,000 in individual donations and £15,000 in match funding, which will contribute significantly to our overall need of £1.2million per year.

Situation
Each year the cost of keeping The NeuroMuscular Centre (NMC) operating increases. In 2019-20, it will cost £1.2million, and NMC is reliant on fundraising to raise this total. This annual increase in costs is inevitable. As NMC remains the only provider offering the services it does for people affected by neuromuscular conditions, referrals to the service increase year on year. Covering operational costs is vital to continue offering this much needed support for NMC's service users.
Solution
Raising a total of £30,000 and covering the costs of running NMC for over a week will play a significant role in NMC's overall fundraising plans. We aim to use the publicity surrounding the Christmas Challenge to encourage local businesses, groups and individuals to further support NMC with future fundraising, to enable us to continue supporting people and families throughout the UK that are affected by a neuromuscular condition.
