    Situation

North Eastern Ethiopia. The council provides free education to 572 orphaned children. These children, aged 6-15, however must work nights as servants to pay for their precarious lodgings. Currently they don't get a proper meal anywhere, they have to scavenge for food from the university halls. This means they often pass out whilst at school. We need £50k per annum to provide a school canteen and balanced food items to sustain these poor children. This pays for food for all 572 plus canteen staff and cooking gear. On the same budget we will be able to get a farm going to make the school's nutritional requirements self sustainable.
