This is an extraordinary opportunity to double the impact of charitable giving for your community in West Sussex, East Sussex and Brighton & Hove. Sussex Community Foundation works at the heart of communities, helping local people to meet local needs. We provide grants for a vast range of charitable causes, addressing disadvantage, promoting culture and the arts, and helping to build strong communities. Perhaps our greatest strength is the ability to reach small local groups which make a great difference with a small amount of money. We gave a grant of £900 to the Rotherfield Friendship Group to help isolated elderly people. They said: “This grant was beyond our wildest dreams. Now we can make sure that all our members can get out of the house and spend a little time with other people. We will make sure that every penny goes to help our members. Your support will make a big difference to our community.” Through this appeal we are building an enduring fund which will help people like this to address local needs for generations to come.
