We need to buy and equip a new vehicle to take the place of our old Sensory Bus which has failed mechanically. This project has been much appreciated in the 5 years it has been running.
It ran from 12:00 AM, 7 December 2009 to 11:59 PM, 11 December 2009
Continuation of the Sensory Service is vital for children with disabilities and adults with dementias. It enables them to manipulate their environment in ways that they are not able to do for themselves. Purchase, conversion and equipping the new vehicle would cost in the region of £137,299. Salary for the Co-ordinator would cost an additional £25,000 per year.
