    Situation

The children and young people who will be assisted are disabled and are some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society. The disabilities of the children and young people who will access this service vary from those who have been diagnosed with Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy or Learning Difficulties. Some other children who come to Palace have unspecified or undiagnosed disabilities, a few children have rare conditions, and several have complex needs. Services would include cranial osteopathy, reflexology, music therapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and social communication. The direct benefits we hope to achieve would come through our programme of therapies and communication and learning support which will: - support, strengthen, maintain and promote general health, mobility and the relief of symptoms - increase children's communication skills - enable improved abilities to share, take turns, focus and increase their attention span - assist in developing better sleep patterns and being calmer. Part-time Therapies Co-ordinator & Practitioner £20,000 Contribution to running costs (venue, utilties, insurance etc) £5000 Therapists fees ( 5 therapies ) £25,000
