The Art House has been open since 2008, we are uniquely accessible so everyone can benefi. Our community studio is used by e.g. Alzheimer's Society and Wakefield Visually Impaired Artists. Every £100 you donate means another group can experience the benefits of making art in a social group.

Situation
People with disabilities find it harder to take part in art workshops organised for the public. Taking part in art is important to a lot of people: it increases their well-being, gives them a chance to socialise and allows them to express and refine their own ideas about the world.
Solution
The Art House includes everyone- both disabled and non-disabled. Our building is uniquely accessible and since 1994 we have worked to make all our projects equally accessible to all. When we opened our building in 2008
