We will raise awareness of the plight of garden wildlife and how simple steps can make a tremendous difference to the survival of some garden species that were once common and widespread across the county but are now becoming scarce.
It ran from 12:00 PM, 1 July 2010 to 12:00 PM, 1 June 2012
Registered Charity in England and Wales (209200)
With the constant threat of climate change, development and unsympathetic gardening practices, our garden green spaces are in decline and so are many of the species that have come to depend on them for their survival.
We will: deliver educational workshops, deliver events and talks, provide advice and support to key groups and organisations, provide advice packs, create a demonstration garden allowing people to see examples in practice of ways to help wildlife in their gardens, and work closely with other organisations, landowners and farmers .
