We work with over 500 children a year to get their views on what they wanted changing in their local neighbourhood and then working with them to get these things changed. For example, we worked with children in 12 primary schools to get them to identify 5 things they liked about their school and 5 things they didn't like. We then worked with the schools to get at least three things in each school changed that the children didn't like. This included replacing prickly bushes in a playground with soft bushes and repainting some toilets.
