Warwickshire Wildlife Trust agrees that TB in cattle is an awful and devastating disease which blights the livelihoods and lives of farmers – and we need to solve the problem. However, based on the scientific evidence, the Trust does not agree that shooting badgers will be effective in controlling bovine TB and it could make the problem even worse. The Trust believes that vaccination offers the best and most sensible approach to controlling the spread of TB.
