School students have the reputation for being lazy and self centred when it comes to making a difference in society. They don't often get an opportunity to contribute to their local community in a noticeable and positive way. They also don't have a large disposable income to be able to give money in support of charities and global appeals in response to natural disasters. They can do sponsored events to raise money, but it ends up always costing their families and friends for each event they do.
1) TaskForce encourages students to find a cause that they believe in and want to support. 2) TaskForce gives students a practical way to earn the right to give a significant amount of money to support their chosen charity without having to ask their parents or friends for sponsorship. 3) TaskForce gets students volunteering and contributing to their local community. 4) TaskForce volunteers grow in self respect and are introduced to the idea of charitable giving & community service.
