We have had the floor in the main hall gutted and relayed we had a grant for 20,000 which has already been used up and all our own resources.

Situation
The builder originally gave us an estimate for 4,800 + vat has now presented us with a quote for to fit herringbone sands and finish with waterbased laquer total +vat 10,340.00. Without us completing this floor the hall will not be able to be used by the public therefore is there any way we are able to get help to complete. The parke flooring was the original floor which was laid with tar each tile has been cleaned which took many hours of work then before laying the floor each tile has to be sanded down to achieve a leveled flooring and this has added to the expense of the quote 176m @50pds per metre = 8800.00 +vat 1540pds We would be grateful for any form of financial help as the builder underestimated totally the cost of re laying the flooring.
