We would like to request the support of Antigone for the purchase of a laptop for use in our chapel to enable all residents, despite their disabilities, to engage and particapate in chaplaincy services.
It ran from 12:00 PM, 1 December 2010 to 12:00 PM, 1 December 2016
Registered Charity in England and Wales (1072334)
The Chaplaincy services involve singing and reading prayers which our residents enjoy. However loss or weakness of limbs means residents are unable to hold up hymn books. Loss of sight or limited vision (mainly age related) has become an added frustration on top of their other disabilities and means some elderly residents are unable to fully partipate.
Singing and music has brought joy and friendship to elderly people's lives and this equipment will greatly enhance their lives as it means they will be able to fully participate in the chaplaincy service.
