We have two bathroom blocks that are not adaptable to residents individual needs and so they are currently unused. They have not been updated since 1986 and are very dated, dull and institutional. ith increasing demand on our services it is vital that we have maximum use of all our facilities.

Situation
We will remove and replace the old bathroom furniture and fittings with high-grade purpose built suites. State of the art lifting equipment will be installed, which will enable safe and dignified resident lifting and transfer. Decoration and replacement flooring will also be implemented.
Solution
The high standard refurbishment will provide increased dignity and comfort. It will provide a fresh uplifting environment that encourages residents to look forward to bathing which for many is a difficult task due to their disabilities. The improved decor and facilities will improve residents well being.
