    Situation

The majority of youth theatres in Scotland work in isolation with exceptionally limited resources, often in rural areas, or areas of social deprivation. The NFYT's purpose is to bring together the young people who make up Scotland's youth theatres to enage and share in a weekend of exciting creative, physical and social development activities.

    Solution

The NFYT 2011 will offer over 350 young people from across Scotland (and beyond) the opportunity to meet, create and learn from each other in a vibrant and supportive environment. A programme of 18 performances will be supported by a comprehensive access and education package. Workshops and innovative creative projects will be facilitated by leading artists to promote opportunity and develop skills. Local audiences and young people will also be invited to engage.
