Two years ago we took a group of young people from an estate in Roehampton, SW London to Kenya. The trip was a real success with the young people finding it life changing. Since then several trips have been back to Kenya with more young people, the most recent trip was in October. On the recent trip the young people helped open a home for street children, we have also been involved in feeding projects and running holiday camps for some of the worlds poorest children. For the young people from London the impact of seeing first hand the poverty that exists in the world has a great impact. One young person came back and saved up his money to buy some land, and is now a couple of months away from seeing his dream of having a car mechanics garage open, training and employing young people from Nakuru. We are looking for funding to be able to offer this opportunity to more young people from London estates, thanks for taking the time to read this.
