Some young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, fail to achieve their potential because they succumb to negative peer pressure and become involved in drinking, drugs, gangs and premature and unsafe sexual activity.
Generation Hope offers mutual support for young people who want to make positive life choices, as well as guidance from mature adults. Activity weekends and social media are used to increase awareness of drugs, alcohol and sexual health as well a providing practical social and life skills that enable young people to become successful adults. These include things as basic as the importance of eye contact in social situations, to job interview skills.
