Artists in Wakefield tell us they want to have an impact on communities but don't know where to start! In addition we work with disabled and non-disabled artists alongside each other. Disabled artists can find it hard to gain opportunities for development. Communities often don't have the knowledge of where to find, recruit and manage artists but do tend to understand the benefit the right artist can bring.

Artists will be trained and do placements in communities. We will also build relationships with communities and act as a matching and support service. We will also provide project specific advice act as a project evaluator. We will also provide creative workshops in our community studio in a uniquely accessible environment for those that would prefer to come to us.
