This new e-mentoring project will complement our Mentoring Programme so that we are able to reach more young disadvantaged people who are either not able to meet face to face or do not wish to. It will enable more mentees to receive mentoring, thereby saving time and travel costs for our volunteers.

Situation
Through our Mentoring Programme (face to face) we have found that some of the young people either wish to do mentoring online, or it is logistically more convenient. All our mentors are volunteers and they do not necessarily live close by the mentees so we would also save on travel expenses.
Solution
We wish to purchase e-mentoring Pro (www.ementoring.net) to provide the necessary secure software, developed by The David Horne Foundation, to provide this online mentoring service.
