Our next major project is an artistic journey through the diverse lands, peoples, stories and cultures of the former Soviet Union. From October 2012 we will travel to the major cities of Russia, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine, meeting and working with theatre, dance, music and visual artists. Ultimately we will create new works of art, made in collaboration with artists from the region, that offer insight for new audiences into this rich and diverse part of the world

Dash's work is rare, ambitious, culturally important, international and consquently expensive! We have big plans ahead and to help us achieve them we need to raise an initial £12,000 from people like you. Our initial fundraising activity will go towards supporting the first research trips that Dash's co-Artistic Directors will make out to the region, from autumn 2012 through to summer 2013. The Dash Lights will be making a vital contribution to the beginnings of the new Series of work
