A male domestic violence advocate for men is employed by NNIDAS, who recognises that it can be difficult for men to come forward as they may feel ashamed, embarrassed and have a fear that nobody will believe them. Domestic Abuse can happen to anyone regardless of age, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. The advocate aims to provide information, practical and emotional support to keep men and children safe whatever the situation.
