As TESS only has one employee it’s very difficult to manage accounts, manage volunteers, liaise with sponsors and Uganda, work with experts on the building of our new school and fundraise. However, fundraising is key to the self-sustainability of TESS. We would like £20,000 to fund a fundraiser for one year. Their remit will be to source funding for their own role, the role of the UK administrator, the salaries of all staff in Uganda and administration costs both in the UK and Uganda. Their wage will be £15,000 for the year for 30 hours a week work. The remaining £5000 will be used for TESS’s NI contributions, costs associated with employing a fundraiser and a visit to Uganda for the new employee.
