The Girls Venture Corps Air Cadets is a voluntary uniformed Youth Organisation for girls between the ages of 11 and 20 years. It offers a challenging and worthwhile programme, introducing its members to a wide range of activities, which help to give them a wider outlook and a greater sense of purpose. We are looking at funding which would enable us to send our less privilege members on various camps and leadership courses, which would encourage the spirit of adventure and develop the qualities of leadership and citizenship.

Situation
We are an organisation that relies purely on subscriptions, donations and grants to provide a safe environment for young girls to meet. A lot of our members are from low income, single family groups, and we would like to ensure that they do not miss out on any opportunities. If we were able to raise enough money it would mean that we would have more young people going on our camps/courses and gaining skills that would help them in their future life. We are looking at raising £10,000 per year to enable us to do this.
