Phys Cap is a Yorkshire based children's charity operated entirely by an enthusiastic group of young volunteers. For over 30 years we've helped to make a difference to the lives of thousands of disabled children that little bit easier. Now, we have the opportunity to build a much needed playground. Not just any playground, but one designed with disabled children in mind. We really want to make Phys Cap Park happen and with the help of generous partners from the world of business it can become a reality. The project that will be situated at Temple Newsam Park in Leeds is likely to cost in the region of £150,000. To date, we have had a pledge of £50,000 from one Yorkshire based company. Not one single penny that we receive goes out of the project. In tough times this sum may appear to be a big ask, but we would be letting down our young friends by not seeing this through. The difference this playground would make to the lives of disabled children is outlined in the attached letters. There will be a partners board on permanent show at Phys-Cap Park, on which will be printed the logos of the businesses that have funded the playground. A lifetime of kudos and good feeling will be just some of your rewards. Years and years of smiles, laughter and joy that the children will display will be some of the others.
