During the Khmer Rouge genocide up to 90% of Cambodian artists were killed. Cambodia now faces losing forever its ancient cultural heritage. Cambodian society is still torn and traumatised from the war and genocide of the past. Children are the first to suffer the effect, abandoned, neglected and orphaned but also in rural areas, disadvantaged and forgotten. The tuition of traditional Cambodian arts is important as vocational training, as therapy and as a way of preserving their culture.

In coordination with the Ministries of Culture, Education and Social Affairs:- -Provide care, boarding, tuition in traditional Cambodian arts, scholastic education from grades I to university level, vocational training and rehabilitation, for very vulernable children. -Provide free tuition in Cambodian music, dance and theatre with state exams for disadvantaged children from the local community in Kampot Province, Cambodia.
