This centre will provide people from East Africa training in community development and business skills to enable them to impact poverty in the villages. It will also act as a focus point for the alumni for linking workers together to provide support, new ideas and funding. It is based in Kenya but already has been acting in Somalia, Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania etc.

Situation
There are many churches in East Africa but little training for local people to overcome poverty, poor health and business development. Through our child sponsorship programmes and Economic Cell Group concept we can provide start up funds to groups who want to start a business and be economically free. We expect to train 25 people each 6 months and assign them to areas of development. We need funds to pay for both the setting up of the school and busaries for the students. £150,000 which will build a school, clinic for the local community on site and library and primary school.
