As Sheffield Children's Hospital continues to expand, more-and-more families are in need of accommodation close to their sick child's bedside. Our existing 'Home from Home' at the hospital - Treetop House - faces huge demand for its 13 bedrooms and is full, with a lengthy waiting list, on most nights. For families, having a sick child in hospital is a hugely traumatic experience and without our 'Homes from Home' they would face huge emotional, financial and practical burdens.

Our new 11-bedroom 'Home from Home' will provide us with the capacity to absorb the excess demand we face from families for accommodation. By providing accommodation specifically for families of children on Critical Care - which are often long stayers - we will be able to support many more families throughout the year at Treetop.
