Situation
The Daylight and Dignity Project will include a bright new garden room to replace the dark day room and conservatory. This is the main social space of the Day Hospice and will extend into the garden via a paved terrace giving patients the opportunity to enjoy and interact with the gardens. Existing bathrooms and rest rooms will be relocated in order to better meet patient's needs and our therapy room will be extended to provide separate rooms for occupational therapy, hairdressing and complementary therapy. Whilst the building project has been funded by the government, we need to raise funds to finance the purchase of furnishings. We are also holding a raffle to raise funds towards the furnishings but would appreciate a donation towards our project. This will enable the day to day donations we receive from supporters to fund vital specialised nursing care. Thank you.
