    Situation

Signposting is a large part of Jigsaw’s core support work and as a result we amass a huge amount of information about other services and organizations in the area. Instead of keeping all the information we gather to ourselves we organize it into the Jigsaw Directory. The Directory comes in an A4 folder and is fully updateable so new services can be added as and when they appear and old ones can be taken out when they cease to be available. It has been organized in such a way that services and organizations can be found either by name or by subject making it as easy and quick as possible to find what you are looking for. At present we do not charge for the Directory although we do suggest a donation of around £10 per copy to help cover costs and entry in the Directory is completely free. We would like to find funding to enable us to continue the Directory and potentially develop it into a self sustaining or even money making venture to help fund our other projects. The money requested is to cover 5 hours work time a week to keep the Directory up to date, build relationships with both those who have entries and those who have copies and develop the project as mentioned above. It will also cover costs of materials, printing etc.
