Kabwe Futures Community School

CONTESA has funded the construction of several brick built school blocks for orphans/children in Kabwe, some 90 miles north of the Zambian capital Lusaka. CONTESA is seeking donors and grants to expand and fund the operational costs of the school. Classes now include Grades 8 - 10.

The feeding & complementary educational programmes are geared to help mitigate the huge problems that orpahns and disavantaged children face as they have no food and cannot afford to attend school.


Provide orphans & disadvantaged children with basic education in a very poor and deprived area. The educational programme has been built on the back of the successful feeding programme, please see the CONTESA website The John Stanbury school block has been completed as has the new science block, CONTESA now needs assistance with teachers allowances, books, educational equipment & consumables.
