Churches aren't ultimately about buildings but about people, about community, about relationships and about God. However, we're fortunate to have a beautiful Victorian Grade II listed building with both historic artwork and a fully-modernised ultra-equipped kitchen. We aim for our building to tell people about people about community, relationships and God, and to provide a place of welcome, peace, safety, sanctuary, inclusion and love for all.

Our mission is to be “a light on the hill” to the vibrant, resourceful and diverse yet impoverished, marginalised and excluded Arthur’s Hill community of inner-city Newcastle upon Tyne. We seek to demonstrate faith, hope, justice, mercy, humility and the love of Christ to all of our neighbours. We currently need ~ to improve our security with some CCTV on our roof... like many churches, we've had some metal theft! ~ to re-do our interior piping... this would improve our heating and do wonders in reducing our carbon emissions ~ to upgrade our disabled access but installing another ramp... although we've already got a wheelchair/buggy lift, we'd like to make things even nicer for those who use them!
