To improve Bysingwood Community Centre for the community's benefit by extending the existing building to include a new entrance, office space, additional storage facilities and adding to committee rooms. This will enable the centre to be used by more than one group at a time, enable health visitors, local councillors and the police to hold surgeries for the people of the community.

Situation
The existing building is 20 years old and has served the community well in that time, however with the increase in property being built in the area and the number of families increasing with the new property developments the needs of the community have changed. There is nowhere in the area for meetings to be held, nowhere for local councillors to meet their electorate, nowhere for health visitors to host clinics or surgeries. The local play groups have reached capacity, therefore the centre has been requested to host a new playgroup for the community, however with only having the one hall, and minimal storage in its present format the Bysingwood Community Centre is unable to cope with the expansion to the community it serves.
