Victim Support Scotland wants to meet the demand for additional services for children and young people to ensure that they reach adulthhod without becoming victims of crime . We also want to provide aditional services to the families of murder victims and to strengthen volunteer recruitment.

The project will ensure that more work is done with children and young people to educate them on the devastating effect that involvement in crime can have on their whole lives. For families of murder victims the project will help meet their needs for dedicated support in the aftermath of trauma.
Solution
Our experience is that a tagetted approach to young people can help them to reach adulthood by avoiding anti-[social behaviour, bullying and petty crime and by realising the potential damage such involvement could have on their lives and careers. For families affected by murder our dedicated support will help them cope with tragedy.
