The demands for hospice care in Rotherham require increased capacity for all the services provided by Rotherham Hospice. Increasing the inpatient bed capacity from 8 to 14 will significantly meet the needs of those adults in Rotherham with life-limiting illnesses that require this part of our service.

This project sees the completion of a state-of-the-art building that provides 10 new inpatient rooms with en-suite facilities. The building uses all modern heating and thermal technologies to ensure constant temperatures and low running cost. These 10 new rooms with our existing 4 give the Hospice the 14 inpatient bed capacity required to continue to become a centre of excellence for hospice care in Rotherham.
