    Situation

We have been providing music therapy with great results for our clients. Our funding for this project has now come to an end but the need is still there. The sessions have enabled clients to - work as part of a team, build their self-confidence, given them self-worth, and to produce their own music and songs. (CD available). Sessions are incorporated into our weekly timetable, accessed on service premises, and instruments are available. The music therapist provides 3 hours per week, at £35 per hour. We are looking to employ him for a further 12 months (40 weeks) which would cost us a total of £5,040. UPDATE; August 2008, we are trying to acquire further funding but unfortunately we have now lost the services of our Music Therapist. This means that our Music Group is to be suspended until we can win further funding, suggestions greatly appreciated.
