We have a warehouse with Toys and Equipment which are borrowed by over 250 childcare organisations and families across Liverpool. Unfortunately, as there are so many toys to choose from, it is difficult for childcarers to clearly see the selection. We therefore need to put up shelving which can display the difficult toys and equipment,

    Situation

Lots of childcare groups in Liverpool are unable to buy new and exciting toys and equipment for the children in their care. Children get easily fed up with playing the same old toys all the time, so by borrowing toys from our Toy Library, this is a way of re-capturing their interest and stimulating and challenging them in play activities. Childcare groups can borrow the toys for a 6 week period and then bring them back and select some more. We have obtained thousands of pounds worth of toys through grants and donations but as there are so many stock piled in our warehouse, it is difficult for childcare organisations to see which toys best suit their own needs. We need to therefore display the toys in sections of our warehouse to make it easier to choose the toys. Sections would include toys for babies, toddler and pre-school children so they're not all mixed together as they are at the moment. Shelving (including installation): £3,800 Ladders/signage: £1,200
