Many people with disabilities are striving to lead full and active lives but the equipment provided to them by statutory sources is often very limiting. Specialist equipment is beyond the reach of many families, leading to frustration, isolation and a strain on both the individuals and their carers.

A grant from the Suffolk Disability Care Fund can provide a family with a life-changing piece of equipment such as a powered wheelchair, a specialist buggy or trike, or a larger car seat for an older child with a disability.
