    Situation

    Future Academy will be based at the NR5 Project in Norwich and offering a range of formal and informal activities to engage and support vulnerable young people up to aged 25. Future Academy is committed to offering a range of activities and courses in an open access facility that helps them with their life management; this may include Driving Theory, Budgeting, CSES Cards, formal qualification in vocational music education and key skills (Communication, Application of Number and ICT) plus employment, benefit and housing advice and referral services. Many post 16 educational and drop in facilities are not available to our client group due to challenging and difficult behaviors. Future Academy aims to provide a facility that is nurturing, innovative and relevant to young people's interests and needs. Support is offered by qualified and credible staff who are experienced with the client group. Future Education is a pathfinder and aims to offer the support that these young people need to turn their lives around and have success.
