    Situation

For 100k per year we can offer a week long service with four sessions running until 9.30pm. We work in Leiston and Saxmundham, both small rurally isolated market towns and offer a holistic support and care package to young people 13-29. We offer: Open access drop in sessions for older young people who are outside education, employment or training, to offer them information, advice, guidance and support to give them the skills to feel confident to get back into work or education. After schools 'some where safe to go' sessions, offering school aged children a safe and non-judgemental place to meet friends, surf the net, play pool and chat with dedicated, professional youth workers, so in the future if they come up against issues which may be detrimental to their wellbeing they feel comfortable and confident to talk to the staff. Youth cafe sessions offering an up to date and relevant youth club, which offers hobby club sessions such as art and cookery, which help to raise self esteem in all aspect of their lives. Diversionary holiday activities, which help to teach young people useful skills such as communication, team building and problem solving. Counselling and key worker support. Young people have to face a massive amount of emotional issues, which they are not equipped to deal effectively with, through counselling and ongoing key worker support a young person has the supported space to realise their full potential and equip themselves with a tool box of coping mechanisms for the future.
