    Situation

This programme aims to develop options for employment or further education for students aged 14 – 16 years. Students attending this programme are offered a range of progression opportunities including the BTEC Countryside Management and, in 2010, the ‘Land Based Diploma’. Through our partnership with Weston College we are also able to offer links to their existing ‘14 – 16 Provision’ and ‘16 – 18 Pre Entry to Employment and ‘Entry to Employment’ initiatives. Project costs include session planning, contact and report writing, food, learning materials and entry into the accredited award schemes.
