    Situation

This programme provides a structured experience with the single aim of keeping the student in the classroom. Term One focuses upon individual assessment, relationships and goal setting; Terms 2 & 3 use the natural environment, bushcraft skills and external volunteering initiatives to facilitate the student through an agreed development plan. All participants are provided with the opportunity to obtain recognition of their involvement with the project through the award of internally validated certificates of competence, and externally accredited John Muir Award Levels 1 & 2 and the ‘Vinspired’ Award. Project costs include session planning, contact and report writing, food, learning materials and entry into the accredited award schemes.
