Funding to fit out a brand new 8 bedded hospice to serve Telford and Wrekin in Shropshire. This hoospice is needed due to the large increase in patients in the area resulting from the formation of a new town, Telford, some 40 years ago. Those intial residents are now maturing and many need specialist hospice care.

A £5m appeal was launched in July 2004. To date £4.8m has been raised and the building completed in July 2007. In September our Dau hospice and outreach nursing service opened. Phase 2 is the opening of an 8 bed in-patient hospice. We have an experienced team of medical nursing and administartive staff with an excellent track record over the past 18 years of running a 21 bed hospice in Shrewsbury and two satillite Day Hospices.
