    Situation

Inspire is a creative way to increase personal awareness and development, and build key skills for life and employment such self-esteem, communication, team working and, crucially, confidence. The training motivates participants into positive action for the future by providing a platform to exercise latent creative and leadership talents, enabling participants to take a new direction vocationally and socially. The training uses innovative forum theatre and role play techniques to platform for participants to share their experiences, exploring positive behaviour and inspiring individuals to return to learning environments. Inspire will have the following key benefits for participants and the community: ÔÇß develops key life skills such as communication, team working and, crucially, confidence; and empowers participants with a nationally recognised qualification; ÔÇß provides a platform for successful reintegration into the community and enables participants to develop social and professional networks; ÔÇß inspires others in rehabilitation to enter learning environments and positive action; ÔÇß provides clear progression routes into further training and employment; ÔÇß extends access and participation in the arts to marginalised individuals; The training programme has been successfully piloted with service users at Phoenix Futures rehabilitation centre in Sheffield generating significant positive outcomes for the participants including positive contributions to their community, progression onto further training or employment. In addition to Phoenix Futures who have requested we continue to deliver the training programme with their service users, we have several other drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres on our waiting list to receive the course including New Beginnings in Doncaster, Tunring Point in Rotherham and City Hearts in Sheffield.
