The community building is under threat due to a roof repair that is urgently required. This jeopardises the services that are run from the building. Developing a link with schools and collaboration with school, business and young people will raise aspirations; provide positive role models and valuable experience for young people enhancing their curriculum with community links and activity. This will enhance their learning and engage a new generation of fundraising volunteers

The amount raised will help to repair the roof and secure the service delivery. The young people will take an active role in developing and marketing the project and will engage with a range of positive influences and shared learning through their participation. The project will include a series of workshops leading up to the donor week when the young people will be in the community supporting individuals with on-line donations
